For more detailed information on all of South Africa's magnificent National Parks go to the South African National Parks web site via the following link: www.SANParks.org .
Here is an example of a 5 or 4 day tour to Kruger National Park (accommodation will be just outside the Park borders or inside the Park – although very early booking for the Park is recommended due to local holidays and school holidays). We do suggest that guests stay in a guest house for their first night in South Africa as traveling time will be around 5 hours:
After collecting the clients we travel eastwards, option 1: stopping at the historical town of Pilgrim’s Rest, seeing God’s Window, Bourkes Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon, passing through the northern Drakensberg with their stunning views to arrive at one of the northern entry gates to the Park to overnight. We enter the Park in the morning, spend the day game viewing, visiting the famous Olifants rest camp for lunch, overnighting at Orpen gate or just outside. Re-enter at Orpen Gate, view game all day, lunch near Tshokwane, overnight near Paul Kruger Gate. Re-enter here, view game, lunch at Lower Sabie Camp, final overnight near Malelane Gate and next day depart for the return journey to Johannesburg via the national highway. Option 2: arriving in the southern part of the Park, doing a short game drive before lunch at Berg-en-Dal Camp, followed by an afternoon game drive, before overnighting near Crocodile Bridge. View game the following day, lunch at Lower Sabie, overnight near Paul Kruger Gate. Next day, view game, lunch at Satara, overnight near Orpen Gate.
